Why the new Dasboard login process ??

Why has the login on the dashboard changed. ??   Why can you ONLY enter the "Email" and then have to press "next" to get the "password" field  and then login.

What was the reason for this change ?   It is now slower to login  (extra clicks)  and the password managers require a lot more config to work.

What benefits are we getting from this change ??

There was an article about it but I can't find it.

If I remember correctly  it was to allow better support for SAML logins.

Bookmarking the login page doesn't help with auto log out. You have to enter email, then next, then enter creds. It would be better if the auto logout took you to the correct landing page.

@CharlieCrackle  its to allow support for other authentication methods like SSO.
