Severe MX64 supply issues

Hi guys,

we have been waiting for mx64 deliveries for months and the situation does not seem to be getting better, what is your experience? Are there any predictions of a return to normal?

Is there a specific issue with this hardware or it's general?

Regards

Hi @ccicali , unfortunately this is worldwide due to chip shortages.  Try and buy a brand new car or PS5.

Adding to what @DarrenOC explained, don't go for the MX64, this device is approaching EOS. Better go for the MX67 which is only slightly more expensive.

I see it getting worse, but just from my own outlook.  I have noticed some Cisco lead times double in just the last week or so.  MX64-HW shows 330 day lead time right now..

Are you able to see MX67-HW lead time?

Thanks

Hi @ccicali

For both the US and EMEA the MX67 is showing as 165 days lead time.

Would an MX68W work for you as they're on a lead time of 85 days for both US and EMEA?

The MX64 was announced as being end of sale in January and the date is in July as per the link below so I'd guess they won't sell any more with current lead times:
