Kind of a big deal

Anyone going to Cisco Live in Amsterdam ?

Should we snap a Meraki Community group picture ? 🙂

Of course at one of the Meraki talks -

Could be right before or after DEVSKL-1220 at Monday 13:30 ? BRKEWN-2035 Monday at 16:15 ?

Or Tuesday BRKMER-1415 at 12:00 ?

Wednesday BRKMER-1691 at 8:00 ? BRKMER-2164 at 13:15 ?

(and then I dont have any other Meraki sessions on my schedule ..., but Ill show up if someone has some other times that would be good 🙂 )

Of course someone(tm) should bring a big sign that says "Meraki Community" 🙂

/Thomas

@thomasthomsen I work closely with the Community and would love to meet you if you have time! I'll be helping staff the Capture the Flag booth in the World of Solutions. Come say hi!

Sorry I didnt get around to go to a CTF session. So I did not visit.

But, for some reason, I was recognized by a couple of Cisco / Meraki ppl in the World of solutions (I cant remember their names, Im sorry, Im bad with names). Very friendly, we had a good talk, and they provided insightful information about the new APs (that was not their main objective, but I asked them because "the wireless guy(tm) was never there when I was around 🙂 )

Brennan Martin doing his thing in BRKMER-1415 session

(also Julie Nguyen was there to do her bit 🙂 )

I wish this had been a 2K or 3K session, but perhaps next time.

Simone Arena - in BRKEWN-2035 (Design your Enterprise Wireless
Network with Cisco Meraki)  with some really nice tech insights.

(I really wished this had included MCG, but alas, next time perhaps).

The store tech lab walk through, some really nice insights into what you can actually use "EVERYTHING" for. 🙂

It is also important to go "outside your comfort zone". Here Nexus HyperFabric session.
After attending this session it is clear that this product should have been named Meraki HyperFabric, and that we REALLY should all wish for the "auto wire" "auto connect" (cant remember the name) feature from HyperFabric in the Meraki dashboard. This was so cool. - BRKDCN-2907- How to Setup a Nexus HyperFabric from scratch.

Security is also important, and we all cant wait for this to become general available.

BRKEWN-2104 - Understanding Wireless Security

And as always, it is also important to keep up and in touch with your co-workers ,previous colleagues, and other partners at Live. Just a couple of "action shots" of " other then sessions" 🙂

Hamina - The live overview from the Meraki dashboard is REALLY nice.

CAE - Monitoring your Meraki infrastructure, and power consumption, and trigger "on off" with fx. the MV cameras - nice.

Study material for my self.

And of course I had to show my colleague Bo my "favorite spot" in Amsterdam 🙂
