One more question.

Some communication mistake, dashboard license contract activation time is later than MX68 arrival time. Customer want to on line MX68 first. Can we config MX68W without adding a dashboard license ?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @hsieht , yes you can.  You’ll get a license warning in the dashboard but you can add the device and configure before applying the license.  Not sure of how many week and days you get but the dashboard will tell you.

if you have a Cisco sales number Meraki support can extend the license grace period whilst you wait for the license to arrive

Hi, yes you can setup the MX68 without a license and there is a 30-day grace period for the license. If the hardware has arrived you should also be able to claim your license using the order number. The KB is for free trials but instead of the free trial order number use your actual order number to claim the equipment. https://documentation.meraki.com/Getting_Started_with_Meraki/Getting_Started_Resources/Meraki_Free_T...

Thank you for your information.

My customer receive email like this. They complained there is no dashboard license. We ask our distributer and found the license start date is Oct 1 which mean license email will be sent on Sep 31.

Do you mean if customer claim  this order number will also get a license even if license email has not been sent out yet ?
