Brand new to Meraki world - how do I help a client renew a license for their existing Meraki equip?

One client has a firewall and wireless AP with licenses expiring mid August.  How is that licensing renewed?  Along the same lines, how would I purchase licenses for "new" equipment that has no remaining license?

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

I think it's this part of the operation that is derailing me.  I'm having a heckuva time getting D&H to give me access to Meraki renewals, despite being a Cisco and Meraki partner. The next step will be to learn how to figure out what license key is needed to cover all devices currently in production.

  1. Purchase a single license key that covers all devices currently in production in the organization from an authorized dealer"

Hi @ITG_Daryn - As mentioned here already reach out to your Meraki Account Manager or Cisco/Meraki Partner for assistance with both license queries.  Both very straight forward to resolve.

@KathleenJ - should you be pitching certain Cisco Partners here?  There are many more able partners on the market that can help other than the big players.

I'm not an employee of Cisco/Meraki. My posts are based on Meraki best practice and what has worked for me in the field.

Good point, I removed my post.

Go to here:

It will give you a list of licences in use:

You can add anything extra you want.  And then send that to your favourite Cisco distributor and ask for a quote.
