Hi all,
I am new on the meraki system. I created a VPN server IPsec/L2TP on my new Meraki. I managed my Routing and everything seem to be fine when i connect a Client VPN from ios or MacOS, i can access to everything. But now When i create a client on a windows 10 or 11 computer nothing works. in possible to establish a connnection.
I edit all settings correctly.
Could you help me to understand the issue?
BR
Steve

Can you check if you are selecting "Username and password" under Network Settings > VPN and Edit the VPN? It defaults to "General authentication method" which might throw an error

Hi,
I would start by checking the Windows Event Viewer and Meraki Event log.

After that, you want to consult the following document to see if you get any of the common errors:

Hi,
Windows is not great at handling situations where the client and / or server (MX) is behind NAT, and this will generate an 809 error. I am also seeing that, recently, the Windows VPN client does not report the specific numerical error, but reports "The network connection between your computer and the VPN server could not be established because the remote server is not responding."
This can be resolved with a registry edit, which can be tricky to apply. However, you can download the regedit file here
The link also contains advice on resolving other Windows client VPN errors. Hopefully you will find this helpful 😊
