Hello everyone, I wanted to know where I can find the most current information about the most current firmware versions and applying those versions.

Hi Sammy,

This is a pretty good KB on the minimum build of firmware for devices. But really the best place to look is on the dashboard under Organization>Firmware Upgrades. Here you can see which builds are available for your devices and also view the release notes for that build.

If you were to go to Organization > Monitor > Firmware upgrades you will see the Latest Firmware Versions available and you can see the versions for each listed:

Stable
Stable release candidate
Beta
Other available versions

You can select RELEASE NOTES for the details.

Hi sammy2024,

You can find the latest firmware version from the meraki dashboard. 1st login into dashboard and then go to organization after that click on Firmware upgrades option then you can see the latest firmware versions available for all associate devices.

Thank you everyone for your insights. I did look at the dashboard however, I do not see the Organization tab being displayed. I do see every other tab however, I do have administrator access, but I do not see the Organization tab.

Please let me know if there is another forum where I should ask this question for best guidance. Thank you, all.

You are on the right forum - and the responses are all correct.  Unfortunately your access doesn't allow you to see that.  You can either ask for admin permissions (organizational) or ask the admin person to share with you the release notes for what's available.  The limitation in this situation is the role/permissions of your access.

I have been looking into the Stacks that are in place, and I noticed the below message.

"Detected stacks that failed auto provisioning
Auto-provisioning of the stacks listed has encountered a problem. Please re-attempt provisioning manually

No potential stacks detected"

I found this article while reviewing some previous posts   Setup Stack with existing switches - The Meraki Community . There are 2x MS255 and 2x MS355 in the environment these are what I see currently in the dashboard of the environment along with an MX100.

I have investigated the equipment configuration based on the above article and everything looks to be in order my question is though what might cause the above notification?

Thank you all in advance for any suggestions.

The dashboard will now automatically attempt to provision detected potential stacks for you.

This has the same effect as clicking the "Provision this stack" button, and Dashboard will only attempt this once.

If Dashboard is unable to auto provision the stack, the switches will appear on the same page in the
Detected stacks that failed auto provisioning section, and the stack will need to be manually provisioned using the Provision this stack button once the cause of the provisioning failure has been fixed.

If no stacks are listed beneath the errors then you are fine. In terms of the firmware versions, every version is listed in the firmware upgrades section of the community and I put all the release notes there, so even though you cannot see organisation, you can still see everything!
