ios13 - Error: This profile can only be installed on a Supervised device.

Hello,

We are attempting to deploy new devices running ios 13, and our profiles will not install on ios 13.  If we upgrade a device from 12.4.1 to 13 and the profiles were previously installed they remain and are fine. It is shows these errors when trying to configure simple Activesync profiles.

New fresh installs fail with the following messages:

Error: This profile can only be installed on a Supervised device.

Code: 4001

Domain: MCInstallationErrorDomain

Error: Profile Installation Failed

Error: Profile Failed to Install

Error: This profile can only be installed on a Supervised device.

some profiles now need devices to be supervised under IOS 13

Hey there,

Connor here from Meraki Support, make sure you're not using a "require password to remove this profile" option, as I've seen this triggering the supervision error on profiles since upgrading to iOS13.

This should allow the profile to successfully push out, all the best!
