[Solved!] Meraki trying to claim any device using school Google Drive

Hello,

I have no clue if I'm posting this to the correct location, but I'm trying to find the solution to my problem.

Back story: I work at a school and due to budget cuts, there is no IT person, but we're trying to roll out tablets for pupils so I'm supporting with it. None of us really know how to use Meraki fully so I've done my best to follow the documentation.

What I've done so far:

1. Created a Network

2. Linked the Android Enterprise MDM with our school Google Accounts.

3. Added a few tablets to the network to test pushing apps and software, etc.

This is all working as intended.

What the problem is:

Whenever someone using an android phone tries to access our school's Google Drive, Google Drive pushes the Meraki authentication app onto the phone. We do not want this to be happening.

How do I reverse the problem and stop it from happening? I would like the Meraki authentication app to only be on our school tablets and not on teacher's personal android devices.

Thank you!

Kind of a big deal

Check the settings in your Google Admin Console to ensure that the Meraki authentication app is not set to be automatically installed on all devices associated with your school’s Google account.

I would hazard a guess that it's related to this set of settings: https://support.google.com/a/answer/13784172?hl=en and it appears there are ways to have it do what you want.
