Set photo mode to best compatability on iPad

Hi All,

I have a number of enrolled iPads that are used to take photos. These photos are uploaded via Windows machines. The difficulty arises when the photos are taken in HEIC mode and are not recognized by Windows and show as corrupt.

Is there a way to enforce all iPads to use best compatibility mode to ensure images are stored as JPG

Thanks for your help

Not systematically, no...

There does appear to be an update available, though:

Kind of a big deal

I'm with @PaulF , I'd look to update the software on the Windows computer to support the HEIC format.
