Server 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019 no longer supported in SME 4.0+

According to support, only Windows Server 2022 is supported going forward in systems manager version 4.0 and higher.

Can someone from Meraki comment on this decision? Server 2016 and 2019 are still fully supported operating systems by Microsoft. Even 2012 R2 is in extended life.

Not being able to manage 75% of our server environment is not going to make it worthwhile for us to use SME.

Directly quoted from our ticket:

"Unfortunately, versions 4.0+ of the Systems Manager agent require Windows 10 22H2 (OS build 19045) and above or Windows Server 2022 and it's not supported in older versions. We are working with our internal team to update this in our documentation."

Seems odd that MS supported versions of Windows server aren't supported then again I don't really know of any people that manage servers via an MDM as most don't support Windows Server.
