Removing native iOS / Android exchange accounts

Hi all,

Is it possible to configure MDM to remove the settings for devices that have the native iOS / Android mail apps configured with an exchange account?

We are in the process of deploying the MS Outlook client to our devices. We want to remove the users exchange account that they have set up in the native mail client on their device. These are accounts that were on the devices prior to being enrolled in MDM.

Thanks in advance.

To the best of my knowledge, no.

You might be able to blacklist the native mail app, so the user can no longer access it.

@ITGuy1024  If you are not going to use the mail app at all you could simply hide the app. This can be done using "restrictions"

That may be a good option except these are personal phones as well and the users might have other email accounts in the native mail apps.

Ah I don't think there is a solution for that sorry without the users manually removing the account information.
