Do the tablets have a GPS chip in them, and are they in Device Owner mode?  If so, the location data should be accurate.

The one exception is if the tablet has agressive power saving properties set, which can cause the GPS chip to be turned off quickly after it has been used.

@AmelieS - does this update fix the issue with inaccurate location for Android devices? We have a client with 100 Android Tablets and they cant tell where any of them are right now! There are a long list of other bugs and problems with Meraki MDM - at the moment I can't recommend it to anyone.

On April 11th Meraki upgraded the profile section in the enterprise version and set a passcode password policy of:

Passcode is required

Simple passcodes not allowed.

This policy should not be the default. This policy is being pushed to the Legacy version unfairly. New features should not be pushed to the Legacy where we cannot disable them.

Please help! This is a big problem for us using our iPADS.

Would anyone happen to have a list of all updates made to SME vs the legacy version?

@AmelieS Please tell me that this feature is coming soon as this is a much needed addition for iPads.

Clear Restrictions Password

The ClearRestrictionsPassword command allows the server to clear the restrictions password and restrictions
set by the user on the device. Supervised only.
In iOS 12.2 and later, this command will clear the ScreenTime passcode too.
Availability: Available in iOS 8 and later.
