Multiple Windows 10 devices suddenly stop reporting to Dashboard

Anyone else using MDM for management of Windows 10 laptops / notebooks?

We've had several that have the same Anti-virus solution and Firewall policies suddenly not be able to communicate with the Meraki Dashboard. The local logs vary a little but most report this error:

2023-09-25 13:33:53.117688 [00D5AAF0]: do_blocking_wmi_query(): command = C:\Windows\system32\cscript.exe //E:vbscript //Nologo C:\Windows\TEMP\m_aC0BC.tmp
2023-09-25 13:33:53.821691 [00D5AAF0]: fetch(): curl error 60 for url https://cf.meraki.com/cf/config?mac= [...]

Identical models of laptops running Windows 10 with the same Anti-virus and firewall policies connect fine without these errors.

We've searched for what make these ones that appear offline different, but are running out of places to look. Any suggestions from the community?

Hey @HarmonyGuru ,

"curl error 60" usually shows up when there's SSL inspection between the client and Dashboard, might be worth checking if your Anti-Virus/Firewall is doing any sort of inspection or filtering.

If you disable your Anti-Virus/firewall temporarily, does the device contact Dashboard again? Also, if you have a case number, please drop me a DM as I'm curious to take a peek.

Cheers,

Connor

Assuming SSL inspection is the cause, where can we get a listing of all URLs to exclude from inspection?
