Hi Folks,
I have been scoping out a lot of VPP apps that I purchased licenses for. One thing I have noticed (after of course buying the licenses) is that I have to add the device to the app section in Meraki. This seems cumbersome, because if I do a VPP sync in Meraki I see the apps come down, but there is no way to scope them out without adding them to the apps section in Meraki. I would like to invite others to submit a wish to automatically sync apps from VPP to the app section in Meraki.

Hi @jared_f! I think this feature will help.
On your apps page, select "Try the new version!"
Then you'll see this option to import apps from VPP:
Hmm this would be interesting, App's would have to be added so that by default they are not installed on any device otherwise you might end up with users getting app's they don't need or want.
It is a good idea though, I like it!
@BlakeRichardson I never thought of that aspect, but yes. It is not really the issue of scoping them, but the fact that you have to add to do an individual app search for VPP bought apps to distribute them.

Well that is a winner @Melissa! I wish I knew that before importing 45+ apps. Solved!
