Distributing a Testflight Beta app to Meraki managed devices

Hi there,

One of our customers uses Meraki as their MDM solution. We're going to be testing a new iOS app with them using Testflight. The app is not currently live in the App Store. I'm hoping that it's as simple as:

1) Whitelist Testflight

2) Whitelist the beta app (I'm not a Meraki person so I don't know if you do this by app store id or the app id)

3) Invite user to test app

4) App shows up in testflight

5) User installs app via testflight

Any help appreciated

I don't know the answer.

I expect you would deploy TestFlight to the iOS device:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/testflight/id899247664

And then deploy the app using its app store ID.

Did you find a solution to this?  We have a CAD beta app and the CAD company is using TestFlight to push the beta app out.  We tried to install it via a managed apple ID but then came across the documentation that stated you can't use a managed apple ID with TestFlight so I made a personal ID just for this.  Signed in on the iPad and accepted the email invite for the beta app but it doesn't seem TestFlight is being allowed to download it.

Connect your device to a Mac and use Apple Configurator to look at the device's logs to see what's going on. Apple logs are quite verbose, so it should give you an insight into what's going on

But @JTM43 process looks to be the right process for TestFlight
