"Unique client identifier" not working correctly for some clients

Hello,

I installed a new combined network with a L3 switch MS225 and an MX64.

the switch manage all inter-vlan l3 routing in the inside network, plus a default route to the MX64 for internet access.

MX64 has static routes to get back to vlan subnets, like described in this document:

https://documentation.meraki.com/Architectures_and_Best_Practices/MX_and_MS_Basic_Recommended_Layer_...

Internet access and inter-vlan routing works correctly, but i cannot see correctly some network clients, Annotation 2020-07-31 163743.pngFor example the above is a file server, it's working fine and serving many gigs of data to the clients, also it downloads many data from internet (windows update, antivirus updates etc.) ,but in dashboard is reported sometimes up, sometimes down (it's running 24x7) and with a very little data traffic, also with null ipv4 address.

The server is directly connected to a MS225 port configured as access on the right VLAN.

Anyone has experienced this issues?

Regards

Kind of a big deal
Kind of a big deal

Well , It has a ipv6  address.

What does it report on the clients  page about this client. When you select  switch  only.

Also check  the switch arp table. If the client ip shows there
