Regading Meraki API configuration on Third party NMS Tool

Hi ,

We have own third party NMS tool deployed in LAN for Monitoring and reporting Meraki Devices through SNMP Pooling. Now We want to enable API on Meraki dashboard and need to Monitor and capture reports in our NMS tool.

Please help me for below query.

Considering API is Enabled on Dashboard.

1.What are the API details need to be handy to configure API setting in our NMS tool

2.Can we have Read/Write access on meraki devices from NMS tool.

3.is internet required on NMS tool to access Meraki API.

-  depends on your nms system/tool, at least the API key

2.Can we have Read/Write access on meraki devices from NMS tool.

- it has the same rights as the account from where the  API key is. so you can assign that account read only or full access.

3.is internet required on NMS tool to access Meraki API.

- yes, the api interface is in the cloud. not on the local hw device.
