Interest in an API programming course ?

Hi,

Are you interested in doing Meraki API development, but feel like you'd like a bit more guidance?

I've been developing with various Meraki API's for around 6 years now, and am considering developing a free video walkthrough course about how to get started and accomplish common tasks programmatically using Meraki API's

As this is a lot of work, would you be interested in such a course?

What types of topics do you struggle with around Meraki development?

What would you like to see explained or demoed more simply?

What's missing from existing documentation or guides

Thanks!

That would be a lot of work.

I would do it for free as part of your wider social marketing campaign, or consider doing it with a commercial provider like Plural Sight and get paid for it.

I'd be interested in an API course. I've very little experience but would love to be able to modify and standardize all firewalls and APs across my 200+ locations. As they're all combined networks I have been told API would be the most efficient way of doing this.

Yes.... you are right.... Python in combination with API is very powerful.

I have already written many script that make life much easier.... Still creating useful scripts...

I t helps to get some kind of standard network....We have here 300+ Networks and all kinds of sites (global offices and vessel connecting with V-Sat).

What i like to see is more parameter parsing, and creating of standard modules, and of course tips and trick...

Also interacting with other programs, and maybe even make it voice controlled 😉 (Small home project)

Voice control definitely is a fun idea i've been tossing around for a while! Something like Alexa integration? And maybe for configuration changes, or getting monitoring data?

Good Morning,

Looks great...... It inspired me to get the GPS coordinates from the gyro of the vessel, and add that one to the meraki position so we can track the vessel without using marinetraffic.com....

Thanks.

I would be very interested! I have been telling myself to learn more about the Meraki API but didn't have a solid place to start. A video series would be aweseom!

I would like to join in as well, for management and growth purposes, plus ticks for customer dashboards and such. When are you thinking of a launch? Also, market this after a test run with success as others stated, this is always good to those of use with minimal experience on backend API creation.

Hello, I'm interested in learning everything you already do with the Meraki APIs. I wish I could count on your mentoring and how I can learn with small programs.

Thanks for your help.
