Dashboard messages for devices that are "alerting"

I think I already know the answer to this question, but I wanted to check to make sure I was not missing anything. Is there an endpoint that will provide the messages that appear in the dashboard under the name of a device that is in an alerting status? Messages like "Radar event pattern detected across 2 channels" and "DNS is misconfigured".

I know that for the radar messages you can get information on them in the event log, but I don't think that is possible with other messages, or it would be hard to track them down. I have looked in the device status endpoints as well as the device endpoints and did not find anything. I was hoping to find this so that information can be added to a status app I wrote so I don't have to go into the dashboard just to see why a device is alerting.

I think that should be just what I need. Thanks!
