API - viewing org devices 'Not in use' or assigned to a network

I have an API call working in Powershell which retrieves a list of our org devices but it is only bringing down devices that are currently in use and assigned to a network.  

We have other devices in our inventory that I would like to report on which are not currently assigned to a network - how can make a call to retrieve this info?

After a lucky search in this community I stumbled across this post by @DonL which highlighted the 'inventory' parameter which I actually couldn't see in the API docs.
