Unused Inventory

Hi all, 

Quick question, will devices I have in unused inventory count as a license?

If it is not linked to any network, it will not consume a license.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

@Terry_C just bear in mind that any devices you have that are not assigned to a network can be claimed by another organisation because they are not locked to your organisation UNTIL they are assigned to a network. 

 

I have a network named unassigned devices that I keep all unused devices in.
