Separate network for testing/dev

I am wanting to create a separate network for testing a new DC server with a separate DHCP than that of our current. I have tried using a separate VLAN for it and haven't had much luck. What would be the best way going about to accomplish this?

We currently have only 1 MX. Would we need to create a complete 2nd network in the dashboard and get another MX for it or would we be able to achieve this with just having one MX?

One MX should suffice and should work by using different VLANs to segregate your servers.

Maybe try again and share your configuration.
