SMS Alerts

I would like to setup SMS alerts for the Org's I manage however I noticed that Meraki only supports email to SMS gateways and doesn't support a mobile number being entered directly. 

The issue is in New Zealand our service providers don't seem to support email to SMS gateways like is common in the US.

It would be nice to know if this is on a roadmap somewhere.

I don't think direct SMS will ever be added for NZ.

I haven't used any of the NZ Telco SMS gateways for a while, but I think the main ones are:

I think Lateral profiles (in NZ) might still offer a third-party email to TXT gateway still.

All of these are commercial offerings.

Other options for you to consider:

• If you use MS Teams, you can have alerts posted directly to an MS Team on your phone.  There is also support for Slack and WebEx.
• If you have a small help desk you can also use commercial services like PagerDuty, which can push alerts directly to your team members.  I believe when a team member acknowledges an alert it does so for everyone.
