Reset 2FA for my account

hello

I`m using Microsoft authenticator as my 2FA and intrested in moving my Cisco Meraki 2FA to be Google Authenticator.

What is the best practice to remove the 2FA and re-enroll?

Just to click on "Turn off two-factor authentication" and re enroll?

That's it. When you re enable it will present a new QR code to scan.

Just something to think about - Google Authenticator never used to be able to do a backup/restore (at least when I used it).  So if you loose your phone ... it's an extra bad day.

Authy is a better option than Google Authenticator for exactly the reason @PhilipDAth  mentioned.

Hi , hope someone can help, we accidently erased a 2FA phone and realise that the Meraki account login was on this. How can we recover the account or who do we contact? , not a regular Meraki user.

Regards,

Ger.

Hi @GerKeane . There is a process for Recovering Access to Accounts Protected by Two-Factor Authentication that Meraki Support can help with.
