Request for Early Activation of Meraki Subscription License

Hello Meraki Community,

We would like to clarify the early activation process for a Meraki subscription license that is currently scheduled to start in January 2026.

We have already contacted the Cisco Meraki Customer Service team, but they informed us that the activation date cannot be changed.

However, due to an urgent installation schedule, we would like to confirm whether there is any possible way to activate the subscription earlier than the official start date, or if it is strictly fixed by policy.

Any confirmation or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

I believe support has already answered this question.

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

What support can do and what your sales teams can do are different things. Support cannot modify these things, but your Cisco account team may be able to help you with this by doing some sort of modify. I suggest reachout out to them/your partner to ask.

If you found this post helpful, please give it Kudos. If my answer solves your problem please click Accept as Solution so others can benefit from it.

Or….do the install now and use the License Grace period.  Approx 30 days

I'm not an employee of Cisco/Meraki. My posts are based on Meraki best practice and what has worked for me in the field.

If it is for just one site, you could purchase an additional, separate subscription to meet your immediate needs.
