Hi ,
I just noticed couple minutes ago a new feature on the dashboard :
(Network-Wide -> Clients )
The page loaded and the UI was superb ! However , it only worked for 15 seconds. Any other requests made results in that error message :
I have tried multiple Orgs , browsers ( and computers ) , networks without success.
Am I the only one ?
They must probably still be working on the new page, patience you must have my young Padawan.
😂
🤣
At least this health info is not really new. I have that since … well … can’t remember … very long.
Yeah same, the health info is not new , but the button leads to a whole new client page. I wish I could have taken a screenshot. I was too slow 😞
Ah, the “try new version”. Same result here! 😥
Thanks. for the first time I'm not the source of the problem haha !
It was pulled back last night as an issue was found. Hoping to be fixed soon.
I was waiting for your reply !
Can't wait to try it ! For the couple seconds that it showed up , it was a solid 10/10 !
Going slightly sideways - some things require you to enable "Early Access".
This is not the case @PhilipDAth, for example I have everything enabled.
It is back and working !! 😎
I was with the mouse on the shutdown menu to go home. But I had to stop and immediately look at the new client page ...
It looks really good but seems to be identical in functionality, right?
I liked the new version. I hope it works well. 😄
Tried and liked the new version!
We can now see on which MX port clients are connected to :
game changer !
Finally!
I tried out the new client page yesterday in a network with maybe 1000 clients. I needed to search for a client by their IP address.
It was unbearably slow. Horrible. I ended up flicking back to the "old" client page so I could complete my job.
How are others finding searching for clients in networks with the new page?
Tried with a network of 1009 clients. Speed was the same as the old UI. Will do more testing.
One of the issues I found is I couldn't just "type" in he IP address, it kept stalling and locking up the interface. So I have to type 192.168. (pause) .1 (pause) 2 (pause) . 3.
Yes I also had this behavior. Same goes when deleting chars.
On the existing client interface, it is non-blocking, so I can just type in 192.168.12.3, without waiting or pausing, and then bam - the client appears.
I also had to disable it as it found only about 20% of the clients... Went back to the old and they were all there. It also didn't hold the time range when you changed network. If you'd selected last week, the new network would show last day, even though the GUI still said last week...
It's also useless on a mobile as you cannot change the timeframe and the scrollable part of the window is tiny:
We have such valuable feedback , just wish we could provide it in a easier way than "give your feedback" ( which I really dislike )
@RaphaelL - I've sent this thread on to the relevant team!
Just trying with a dashboard around 100 users and I have none of the issues you guys are having.
I just checked and the network reports it has 36,097 clients. So I underestimated a bit when I said 1,000.
