How to add Meraki Dashboard to Prime Infrastructure using SNMP ?

When Adding the Dashboard to Prime Infrastructure 3.1.0 via SNMP , do I use the public ip address of Security Appliance or DNS Name ?

I noticed that in this guide they query the dashboard via SNMP instead of the devices directly, so then the answer is neither... :

That said, you can indeed also query the devices via SNMP. The access credentials of the two are configured in different locations. More info here:

I'm not sure if PI will allow hostnames to be used. It isn't specified in the docs:

In any case you would then also be depending on DNS to be functional for your monitoring, this may not be desirable.
