Hardware not showing up

Hi, we have connected hardware MS120 and some MR44 to a site network today around 08AM.

 

They have still not reported to the dashboard. Is there some problem?

So the hardware is in your inventory but its not showing as active?

 

If so is your firewall set to allow the devices to communicate with the dashboard? You can get a list of required ports  by going to the help menu in your dashboard and selecting firewall info.

 

If you have already done that have you tried accessing the devices local status page and manually configuring IP info. 

 

It sounds like either the devices are not getting DHCP or your firewall is blocking its traffic. You could also try a factory reset.

They are now online in the dashboard. It took about 2,5 hours before the showed up as online in the dashboard.

Normally it takes about 5 min,

2.5 hours is a long time, the longest I've had was 20 mins. Firmware usually needs to be updated but that still shouldn't take that long.

 

It may pay to check with support as they may be able to give an insight to what happened.
