Disconnecting Meraki from Devices

I'm looking to completely disconnect Meraki from being our device management system in any way.  We don't use it anymore and we've been using other systems for a while now.  My question is, can I remove all of the Chromebooks I have in Systems Manager without it doing anything to the Chromebooks.  For some reason, Meraki is still pulling my Chromebook info into it, even without the API connection being set up anymore.  I even contacted Google and they weren't sure how it was pulling our Chromebook info still.

I've removed iPads from Meraki before and have been through that process of removal, but I haven't done it with Chromebooks or our PCs and I want to know what I'm getting myself into before I just remove them.

Thanks for any insight anyone can give me.

Kind of a big deal

I agree the API is a good start, but I believe you will need to disable the MDM profile. I have also included some more links for info. If that doesn't work your only option may be a powerwash
