Delete Dashboard Account

Hi all,

is it possible to delete a dashboard account? This would be helpful if an administrator leaves the company or something like that.

Best regards

Peter

If an Admin leaves or you need to revoke access then you can remove that person as an Administrator from your Organisation.  You can’t delete someone else’s Meraki account

I'm not an employee of Cisco/Meraki. My posts are based on Meraki best practice and what has worked for me in the field.

Thank you. I know how to configure admins in dashboard. I know to adjust the permissions, I know how to delete an admin in an org. Remember: The admin account belongs to our company. So it is not "someone else's" account. It is an e-mail address belonging to our company. There should be a solution to delete an obsolete account. Beside that: It is not possible for me to delete my own account, too.

Have you tried Call Me Now

It sounds like you should consider transitioning to SAML for dashboard access

If you have access to the email, you can control it.

As CMR suggests, if it's your email, simply change the associated password and check out availability of any 2FA tools.   I would recommend SAML too - in fact;  user-specific accounts more generally.   How would a problematic change be attributable to one admin, if you needed to follow disiplinary (even criminal) processes, if there's no specific accountability?
