Dashboard going to die - Do not understand when I paid

Hi

My license is good up to Apr 15, 2026 which is 336 days from now.

Yet I get emails telling me that my network will stop working.... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Kind regards

John

@John-Yberllan

I work for Cisco Meraki, and licensing is still sometimes mysterious to me(jk). However, if you call the support line, you can speak to a license specialist who can assist in rectifying the situation.

Hope that helps.

Its frustrating that I have to call them as calling these type of lines just cost time.

You may or ay not have an additional device(s) in your Dashboard led to being out of compliance even though the co-term is set for 336 days away.

A screenshot of your license page can help add more context.

Kind of a big deal

Are you using Co-Term Licensing or Per-Device Licensing?

Do you have more devices than your license allows?

Can you send us a screenshot please?

I am not a Cisco Meraki employee. My suggestions are based on documentation of Meraki best practices and day-to-day experience.

Please, if this post was useful, leave your kudos and mark it as solved.

^ This - if the duration is still within date (which seems to be the case here), you're likely using more devices that your license allows.

For example, if you have 2 x MR licenses, but have 3 x MRs, you're over-utilised by 1 x MR. You'll either need to purchase an additional MR license, or remove an MR from a network. You can see if this is the case by going to Organisation > License Info, if you see a number in red under the "current device count" column, that'll be the offending device(s) which need a license.

Call into Meraki Support if you require assistance, or feel free to drop me a DM.

You're licensed for 1 AP (and 1 MX and 2 switches) and you have 2 APs. So it's out of compliance. You need an additional AP license.
