ConnectWise API Integration

ConnectWise API Integration

Any plans to create an API integration with ConnectWise.  We are a MSP who uses ConnectWise PSA (Professional Services Automation).  Having the ability to receive alerts directed to a certain company for Organization directed to specific service boards would solve a lot of MSP problems.

You could do some of this using simple email alerts and workflow rules.

You could do 100% of this with a schedule Python script and the API ...

You could also do it using WebHooks (which would make it more real time) but it would involve quite a bit more work:

We really need ConnectWise to add WebHook support.

A Google just found that Zapier have a WebHook to ConnectWise gateway.

Zapier are quit popular for providing connectors between different products - so with their reputation this might be quite good.

I would do a further check and make sure they don't have a direct Meraki to ConnectWise gateway as well.

AlertMagic is in the Meraki Marketplace and provides what you need using Meraki webhooks.  You can set up business rules to route issues to service boards based on features of the incoming webhook.  The system will even automatically set up the Meraki webhooks, which can be very time consuming to do manually.

It's a commercial service, and there is a Free Tier of your Meraki device count is fairly low (e.g. during Trial).

If this is of interest, you can complete the form here, sign in with your Microsoft Account or DM me to set up a call!

(Disclosure: this is offered by Panoramic Data, a company I work for).
