Auto logout after a period of time

We have mfa enabled on dashboard but sessions never time out. 

They always stay open. 

Is there a setting to force logout age a period of time?

I only have access to one location not the whole organisation in case its a setting at the top level.

There is a setting at the organization level to adjust the idle timeout.

Organization => Settings => Idle timeout

If you uncheck the checkmark you probably will stay logged in (need also to test it).
