Account Verification Email - Expiration

Do the account verification that users receive via email when you set them up as an organization or Network Administrator expire if not verified and if so, how long does it take for it to expire if they don't click on the link and create their password?

They do expire.  I think it happens after 24 hours.

Thank you Philip, I've been setting up a lot of users who don't verify the email and wanted to provide them an expiration window so hopefully it creates a sense of urgency.
