5/7/2024 Dash board outage ?
Anyone else having issues accessing the dashboard this morning? API's are all getting 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable
and logon are getting 405 Not Allowed (nginx)
Status page shows no issues 😞

Which shard are you on @JGill ? E.g. n146.meraki.com, you can find this by browsing Dashboard and grabbing it from the URL. There was some scheduled maintenance this morning on select few so may have been due to this.

We are on n755. We didn't have any indication or alert of maintenance. We were down about an hour. Normally not an issue but we had 10 network upgrades scheduled yesterday morning.
No maintenance screen was shown, just 405 errors and 503 errors. Guessing they had an ugly upgrade going on. Tickets are in for an RCA for our records.
Be nice if they sent out scheduled maintenance alerts if they are taking shards offline, or update the https://status.meraki.net page to show scheduled maintenance (and expected durations).

Hi @JGill , looks like n755 had indeed scheduled maintenance during this time. I'll forward your feedback to the team regarding the notification piece.
With regards to status.meraki.net:
This page is designed to communicate incidents that impact many customers, an entire service, device type, or region. It does not reflect scheduled maintenance or service outages that fall below the threshold mentioned above.

To our defense "...an entire service" did cover of view of the world, as our entire Meraki Dashboard Service was 100% down 😀.
I do have some great examples of some Status IO pages (behind logon screens) that show scheduled maintenance along with regions and sub applications (+ to expand) that show the best of both worlds.
Happy to share if they want to see how some other companies show schedule maintenance below the high level status pages.
