We just launched a few small changes and bug fixes to improve your experience here on the Meraki Community.
Improved carousel pagination
The carousel on the home page now has more visible pagination, with arrows to make it easier to rotate through the items.
BEFORE: Small dots on the left let you move between the items in the carousel (not very obviously!)
AFTER: More obvious pagination, with arrows
More obviously clickable "toasts"
When you're on the community and someone replies to an item you're following, or gives you kudos, a small "toast" appears in the bottom right. Until today, it was not obvious that the toast is clickable, because the cursor didn't change. Now the cursor changes to a hand as expected.
BEFORE: "toast" is not obviously clickable
AFTER: Hey, it's clickable! Look at that hand-shaped cursor!
Improved pagination in the Projects Gallery
The pagination in the Projects Gallery was a mess; we fixed it 🙂
BEFORE: What are those dots? Where are the other pages?
AFTER: Pagination that makes sense!
Improved search messaging
For some terms, such as "ECMS1", we have set up synonyms that also get searched for (such as "CMNO", "ECMS 1"). The messaging explaining what the system was searching for wasn't showing up; now it does.
AFTER: Search synonym messaging showing up (previously, it wasn't appearing)
These are all small adjustments, but they should make your experience here on the community just a little smoother!
