Meraki Cloud Monitoring alongside on-Premise NMS

Hi all,

I´ve two questions about the Meraki Cloud Monitoring option for C9K Switches!

1-) is AAA only possible with local Authentication or can TACACS+ through e.g. ISE also be used?

2-) is it possible to use a 3rd party on-premise SNMP solution (SNMPv2 and/or SNMPv3) alongside Cisco Meraki Cloud Monitoring? If so, is there anything special besides the prerequisits to consider?

If you are only doing Monitoring then there are no specific limitations to the various features available in full blown IOS beyond keeping the requirements for cloud monitoring active.

So the answer to your questions is:

1) Yes you can still use TACACS for admin logins

2) Yes you can continue to use other monitoring solutions, just be careful not to interfere with the Meraki configs (they are quite extensive)
