ダッシュボードと疎通が取れない機器におけるオフラインでの挙動について

現在、L3スイッチ <> MS <> MR*n台という構成で運用しています。

そこで、L3スイッチ <> MS間の想定外の障害により、MR及びMSがMerakiクラウドと疎通が取れなくなった際の挙動についてお聞きしたいです。

 

1. Merakiクラウドと機器が疎通がとれていない状況において、オフラインでのユーザ間の通信は行うことができるのか?(Merakiクラウドと疎通が取れないMSに接続されている二端末間の通信など、クラウドと疎通が取れない状況下でのオフライン通信の挙動が知りたい)

また、疎通が取れなくなっていても既存の設定は保存されたままなのか?

2. Merakiクラウドとの疎通が取れない際に行うことができない挙動として、設定のアップデート、切断時のイベントログの参照があるかと認識しておりますが、そのほかにMerakiクラウドと疎通が取れない際に行えない行動などあるでしょうか。

Meraki is designed to handle connectivity failures and a device is offline, it will continue to try to connect to the Meraki cloud until it gains connectivity. Once your device comes online, it will automatically receive the latest settings from the Meraki cloud. This means that even when the device is offline, it will continue to operate with the last known configuration and users will still be able to communicate. But pay attention that any configuration changes made while the device is offline will not be updated until the device regains connectivity.
