I am also having problems withe client names being accurately labeled. My config. Home Network running MX-68 MS120-8LP MR42 (multiple) I have many devices wired and wireless connected to the network. My windows laptop is using a wired connection and is displaying a MacBook device (which is also on the network). I dropped the wired connection re-established a new IP wireless. Meraki provided d39addb3-612d-43f1-ac23-e2dce09b0dc7 as a device name. It did correctly identify the device as an Intel machine. I re-connected via wired and it reverted to showing a MacBook device with the previous wired connection. The IP is not static. Suggestions?
