After testing and having access to my ISP's Modem, the scenario works for me with the Meraki VPN client, but not through Anyconnect and perform port forwarding of ports 500/4500 UDP and 443 for Anyconnect, I'm still investigating what might be happening or if something is missing.

Ya me puedo conectar al cliente nativo de Meraki VPN, pero no logro conectarme por Anyconnect, considerando que no tengo una IP publica fija en mi puerto WAN del MX, es una IP dinámica, hice el port forwarding al puerto 443, pero no logro conectarme, nose que cambios hizo @Maumarti en su modem de su ISP para que funcione el Anyconnect. Alguien tiene el mismo caso similar al mio con Anyconnect?

In front of me is my ISP's router, and underneath is my MX connected to its WAN port, but it's not giving me a public IP address. It's giving me a private IP address in the 192.168.1.x subnet. I have access to the ISP's router and I've already set up port forwarding. I'm connecting through the Meraki VPN client, but I don't have access to the internal networks. I'm still investigating why.

My ISP does give me a public IP address, but I don't have a dedicated IP address for the WAN port. This is home internet. I've attached a screenshot of the MX server; the public IP address is dynamic. What I was thinking of doing is using the DDNS resolution from the MX server to test with the VPN client.

I have a public IP address that appears in my MX record, but when I connect my WAN port to the ISP's router, I get an IP address in the 192.168.1.x/24 subnet. Therefore, based on that, I shouldn't be able to use Meraki's secure client. I'll run some tests to see how it goes.

Hello Team, I hope you can help me with the following question: Our MX record is receiving a dynamic public IP address, meaning we don't have a static public IP address from our ISP. Speaking with the ISP, they have a CGNAT on their end. I've been checking to see if the Meraki or AnyConnect VPN client works with a CGNAT. Has anyone configured it and had it work? I've been researching this and it seems I need to open UDP ports 500/4500 for VPN traffic, but is there anything else I need to do?

Si lo probare mas tarde con Anyconnect y hare lo mismo con el puerto 443. Pero con el cliente nativo de W10 no me funciona, mañana vuelvo con novedades y pruebas

Me sumo a esta consulta, tengo W10 y no puedo conectarme lo hago de Mac Os y si me funciona, previo a esto ya hice el port forward de los puertos 500/4500 UDP, me falta con AnyConnect para probar. Pero con W10 no me conecta por nada, hay algo particular que se hace?

Hi @alemabrahao I performed the indicated tests but the problem persists in W10. I tried configuring it with Anyconnect but the problem continues. I did it with Mac OS using Anyconnect and it didn't work.

Hi team, I'm reaching out for your expertise. I'm having an issue with the Meraki VPN client. We have two MX64 <-MS <- MR connected to Windows 10 laptops. We configured it according to Meraki's guides, but it's displaying the following message: The strange thing is that we've also configured it on macOS, and it works perfectly; the connection is successful. I see some posts indicating that it's due to a Windows update, but those posts are three years old 2022-2023. I don't know if anyone is still experiencing this problem in 2026. Regards

So this is normal behavior as configured on the switch? I mention this because on Catalyst 9200 switches I've configured a port where a Meraki AP connects like this: interface g1/0/20 Switch port mode trunk Switch port trunk native vlan DD Switch port trunk allowed vlan 10, 20, 30, 40 (WiFi network VLANs) Where vlan DD is the management VLAN for the devices. I was thinking of replicating this on a Meraki switch, considering the native VLAN as the management VLAN, but I think a Catalyst switch doesn't work the same way as a Meraki. So, to conclude the discussion, I should configure the Meraki switch port in: Trunk Mode Native vlan 1 Allowed vlan XX, YY, ZZ Correct?

If you receive an IP address when connecting to a laptop via Wi-Fi, create a temporary SSID with the same VLAN. I'm still investigating the cause of the problem.
