Sometimes a business organisation needs to borrow money in order to expand its operations. Borrowing in this way is quite risky as there is a risk of the company not being able to pay back the lender at all. This can affect the business organisation's capital structure and therefore the overall financial health of the company. If the business does not repay the loan, it could even go bust.
