I would avoid doing what you are trying to do here because there could be a risk of conflict as Meraki definitely isn't conscious of all the subnets within your organisation. The documentation doesn't seem to answer exactly what you are asking, but templates are generally rather rigid because of the binding so I wouldn't mess with them too much if you aren't pushing all the config.    Good luck!   ...
