I must be missing something The MX is on a leased line and connected to internal switching. Corporate traffic lives here and the 2 DHCP servers for the LAN. The cheap broadband line is hooked to a cheap router and that's for guests. It handles it's own DHCP I was wanting to use that for guests rather than the Meraki DHCP, but couldn't get it to work. The Meraki DHCP does work, I dont see that the ISP is handling DHCP for anyone? Maybe my drawing makes no sense?

@ww- no I'm afraid that didn't work Changing VLAN ID didn't work either. However using the inbuilt meraki NAT worked. Wasn't really what I was wanting to do, and doesn't explain what was wrong with my ideas. Would really like to learn more, so if someone can advise where to start...

Your assumption is correct. Guest SSID is set to Bridge mode but yes it DOES have vlan tagging - VLAN 1

Further to this post https://community.meraki.com/t5/Wireless-LAN/DHCP-Issue-on-2-SSID-wireless-network-with-2-different-gateways/td-p/42710/jump-to/first-unread-message So on the switch I set the follwoing Port 1 to native VLAN 1 and only allows VLAN 1 - it's connected to my ADSL router. Port 2 to native VLAN 30 and only allows VLAN30 - It's connected to the Meraki firewall which is also connected to core LAN switches Ports 3 - 5 Native VLAN 1 but allow VLANS 1 & 30, they are also POE for AP. My APs are configured with 2 SSIDS. Internal & Guest Internal VLAN is set to VLAN 30 Guest VLAN set to VLAN 1 I can connect fine to internal SSID and access resources needed. However I don't get a DHCP lease when joining the Guest SSID/ Anyone want to point me somewhere to start troubleshooting. Am I doing anything wrong, anything right? Thanks in advance

So I need a new switch. Bummer. So it's APs to new switch. APs have VLAN 1 for corporate, vlan 30 for guest Doe I then simply setup a couple of ports on the new switch with the corresponding VLAN and then connect the respective vlan port to either the MX for corporate and the other to the ADSL for visitors? Or do I connect the switch to the MX84 and use it to handle VLANS and connect the ADSL router to that?

Theres a non managed POE switch.for some hard wired visitors too. I had thought of swapping it out for a Meraki POE but it's not an inexpensive swap.

Both networks have their own DHCPO. Internal is windows server, guests is the broadband router.

Hello, I have 2 SSID's one is for rny local LAN access - it's set to get DHCP from local server and uses Meraki firewall as the gateway. Howveer I also want to enable guest access via the guest SSID to a different gateway on a cheap & cheerful broadband line. I've was hoping to use Meraki DHCP on the 10.0.0.0/8 subnet that they offer, however I'm wanting to know how they get off the subnet and online - I don't see an option to set a default gateway for the DHCP pool? Can someone please explain where I'm going wrong, or if what I'm doing is feasible? Thanks

Looking for some help please? I have a NAT rule that forward https on a specific IP to my exchange box for activesync. Works fine I want to prevent external access to oulook anywhere and the admin pages of exchange. Reseller advises me way to work is add a firewall block on https://domain.co.uk/ecp and https://domain.co.uk/rpc However I still get access and I think it's cos of the NAT rule. Does it not unconditionally forward? Is it possible to do what I want, and if so can you advise how? Thanks

Just FYI I'm from a cloudtrax/openemesh background Also I have only 1 unit to trial so may not have the full picture. We have 20+ construction sites. Each site has 3 unique SSIDS - ClientXXX, StaffXXX, GuestXXX XXX is a unique identifier for the site. A 4th SSIS is common to them all - Tech but is hidden I cannot see a way to replicate this in Meraki It looks like we're restricted to 15 SSIDs. I've created 2 networks but the SSID options remain the same regardless which network I choose. Am I correct in my understanding and we're limited to 15 SSIDs for the organisation? Can this be increased - I don't need 15 SSIDS per location, but I need more than 15 SSID company wide. Thanks
