I think I see what you're saying but even if the Meraki AP had that ability and you didn't need to configure your client to connect to the AP in each new place, you'd still be stuck configuring the Meraki AP (as a client) in every new place. @MilesMeraki is correct, you should really be looking at a Z3 with a 3G/4G cellular USB dongle for that kind of use case. I am on the road sometimes for customer meetings and use that exact setup. As long as you've got cellular coverage, it's effortless. There is of course the cost of a USB stick and monthly service for the cellular dongle, I suppose that would be the trade-off for the convenience. See this link for more info.
