As far as I know, this change only impacts the implementation of progressive web apps on iOS (that was introduced through Webkit/Safari) in iOS 11.3 (PWA are Web apps that behave like native, Apple has added features over the years like push notification etc... see a list of features here: https://firt.dev/notes/pwa-ios/). At the moment I don't think there is any documentation that highlights SM only APIs. The SM documentation itself is contained within the more generic API doc that you referred to earlier (https://developer.cisco.com/meraki/api-v1/), and you would have to know your way. The important and useful SM endpoints will be under API/Products/sm/ in the API reference menu (get devices, modify tags etc...). Under Trusted Server Certificate Names you would need to put a list of server certificates that would be accepted if presented by your ISE server. You can use wildcard for the domain parts. For example if you set *.acme.com, and when connecting to WiFi your phone receives a certificate myiseserver.acme.com from your RADIUS server, your connection would be accepted. We simply use "outlook.office365.com" as the value for "Exchange host". As @PhilipDAth mentions you don't need this when using Outlook. In our deployment we allow both, so users can choose the one they prefer (users have diverse opinions about them!). ... View more

Hi! For iOS you don't need to use managed app settings, you can simply define a policy in SM and include  one or more VPN payloads (one for each connection).
