Did have some problems with firmware 14.11 and VPN's that stopped working. Downgrading to an older beta firmware fixed that again.

That is a good idea. Especially after the : "there is no backup" problem from some weeks ago. But still think this should be offered as an option by the supplier. API's do change, and you have to change all your scripts again.

Indeed, same seems to happen with 4G failover, unplugging works fine, but no internet connection takes way longer to be detected, or not at all sometimes.

Sure, but still no versioning. And if you have hundreds of devices, this gets very messy. Needs to be in the network settings.

Agree with using filtering and security on your network gateway, not on the AP's. What you could do, is using the firewall to open port as needed, say a guest network with just 80 and 443. But more makes it harder to troubleshoot.

Screenshots seems the only option at the moment. Import/export of an XML file would be nice. (firewall/L7 settings are a pain to put back in for sure!)

Have you tried to set the ip and port on the MX for the VPN? Does rebooting the DSL router work as well? It really seems like DSL router problem. Have dozens of VPNs running for years, without any problem.

Hi, Seen the same for SMTP. Support couldn't find why this was happening. Running on beta on this MX now, still sometimes it goes to the wrong WAN.
