Agree and leaning toward the test basically providing a false positive somehow that is triggering the failover, tried multiple DNS services but did not have an impact

Thanks in advance for any ideas - have exhausted paths with Meraki and VZ support teams: MX85 - verizon business circuit WAN 1 / verizon residential circuit WAN 2 Daily, primary WAN 1 is failing over to WAN 2, but then reverts back instantly to WAN 1 Event log show failure to WAN 2 and then it logs the move back to WAN 1 seconds later Fortunately it is happening so quickly user connectivity really impacted Does not happen at the same time of day each day, but always looks the same Spoke with VZ support multiple times - they see nothing that would signal failure on either circuit Changed DNS IP to see if that would help, did not Upgraded MX firmware to latest version - no impact Switched WAN 1 to VZ residential and WAN 2 VZ business - same thing happened with circuits reversed which suggests it was not an issue on the VZ business line At a loss and appreciate any ideas

We want to leave cabled wired LAN ports active and allow devices to connect to the network, but would like to receive an alert if a device connects to a port that has not previously been used. Not using 802.1x or any device authentication. Any ideas without having to send alerts to a syslog server? Basically just tell us if a device has connected to the LAN via a wired port.

Good thought, no local tech at location so would have to figure out how to have IP, etc entered after factory reset.

Good thought - but same exact SIM is working in other MX67Cs we have deployed - only difference being the ones that are working were the first and only SIM installed in the MX - no previous SIM installed

We had a working SIM card from one carrier installed in a MX67C, we changed the SIM card to a different carrier and the new SIM is not being recognized. Almost like the MX67C has cached information from the first SIM and is not clearing it when the new SIM is installed. Meraki Dashboard currently showing uplink status for SIM as "Enabled" but no IP address assigned. Any thoughts greatly appreciated if you have encountered a similar situation.
