Adtran, Velocloud

Help with the setup:   We have a Meraki available to use/available. We need a "dumb" switch to use between our Velcocloud (for voice and data) and our firewall and voice Adtran to passn traffic   Currently, we are using a ubiquiti and everything works fine. We want to use the Meraki 120  but are not sure how to configure it since it needs an IP and access to the internet.   HARDWARE and CONNECTIONS: We have 2 veloclouds  with 2 ISP connected. we need Both of the data ports of Velo's go into a Meraki ms120. (untagged  -just acting as a dumb pass-through switch) The OUT of the Meraki is 1 connection goes to LAN(firewall), 2 connections go out to a voice Adtran    Question: How do we program the Meraki's to just pass traffic through when it does not need to be managed or on the network. No DHCP needs, no routing needs - just needs to pass the traffic through ie: it needs    2 ISP(white) out from velcocloud_> Meraki -> 1 ORGange goes firewall(LAN) 2 outgoing drops goes to the Adtran for voice(white)   Does this make sense?    trying to see what I'm missing because without giving it an ip or connected to the LAN, it does not make it out to the internet and falls offline.   Thank You. Great. Sorry about posting in wrong area. Please move me. Thanks for this. Followup: I understand what you posted. The phones are Allworx-   ?: Do I have the SW do the DHCP with a virtual port(both for V+D and separate DHCP) so both phones and data get corresponding IP needs? Thank you. ... View more

New to Meraki - breakdown questions on new deployment

Hi all-   We have a sonicwall NSA currently during physical routing with DellPowerconnect switches. X3 on sw plugs into Dell Voice stacked ports. DHCP 192.168.168.x for phones x4 on sw plugs into dell data stacked ports. DHcp 192.168.69.x for data. No vlanning or zoneing on the sonicwall currently. All physically separated.   Status: New meraki switches to replace Dell powerconnect. We've stacked the replacement meraki's together with stacking cable. Shows good on the dashboard.   Goal: Have separate voice and data vlan's with their own dhcp scopes. ---- Phones still need to have 192.168.168.x LAN needs to have the 192.168.69.x Phones can/most likely plugged into PC because of single room drops. Have the phones get correct IP and data get correct corresponding iP. Eliminate the x3 from the SW to the voice ports.  On have the Sw use port x4 into the meraki stack.   Can we have the SW hand off the x4 port to a port on the the main meraki stack, where each meraki port can get or send a Phone Dhcp, and Data dhcp, and no matter where or what we plug into the meraki ports?   I hope this makes sense. Thank you for your patience in explaining this. GV ... View more
