Same question        I have core switches (cisco) between the MX and the clients. several VLANs configured on the Cisco. Core switch connected to MX100 (port 3) and ASA connected to MX (port internet).  +Client tracking is tracked by MAC address.   all my client devices are identified by IP address, same MAC address (MAC of core switch), NOT show hostnames.  + Client tracking is tracked by IP address   all my client devices are identified by IP address, NOT show hostname How then can I identify clients properly such as: IP, hostname, MAC, etc…  I have checked Core switch no block NET BIOS name, DHCP.
